Bosch Go with Push&Go function

Bosch Power Tools Ghana introduces the screwdriver Bosch Go for professionals, where a simple push gets the work done. Simply position the tool with the screw against the workpiece, put slight pressure on the cordless screwdriver and it’s ready to kick off powerfully. The lithium-ion battery powered screwdriver is compact and easy to carry around anytime, anywhere. The tool is designed to be as close to the shape and size of a manual screwdriver in order to help the African user to turn from manual effort to effortless working with power assistance.

Commenting on the market introduction, Benjy Ofori, Regional Sales Director, West and Central Africa for Bosch Power Tools, said, “Today, artisans and professionals expect a device for an enhanced performance, longer lifetime, and faster charging cycles as well as compact designs. The Bosch Go combines all these features, making it easier for artisans and professionals to execute all manner of professional tasks respectively in any environment you find yourself. Innovation has always been at the heart of our offerings and we are positive that consumers across the nation will benefit from this new tool from Bosch Power Tools”.

Increased control thanks to torque selection and neutral position

The torque selection feature of the new cordless screwdriver ensures more control while working as well as consistent screwdriving results. It will help African artisans to optimally adjust the power required for the screwdriving process according to material and application. A total of six different settings are avail¬able. The cordless screwdriver provides additional control with the middle position of the rotational direction setting switch. If this switch is set to the middle position, the bit holder becomes locked so that the Bosch Go can be used like a classic manual screwdriver.

The Bosch Go was developed together with users with a design thinking approach: Involving users in an iterative process regularly in the product development. From tightening to loosening screws, this screwdriver comes with adjustable 2.5 to 5 nanometres torque and the speed goes up to 360 rotations per minute. It has superior balance and weighs only 280 grams for reduced user fatigue. The Bosch Go is powered by a 3.6 volt in-built battery for a long run time and 90 minutes of charging attains a full charge. It has a Micro-USB charging point and a 3-LED charging indicator. The screw driving functions can be carried on with absolute ease due to the rotary brush plate that assists with the forward and reverse rotation.

The cordless screwdriver Bosch Go is available at dealer stores across Ghana since 21 June 2018.
