Joins the international network

Bosch Car Service Unimech

2019-02-21

Unimech joins the international Bosch Car Service network in being the first appointed dealer in Ghana, joining an international network of 13,400 workshops located in 150 countries across the world. Unimech Auto was the first established Bosch Car Service in Ghana, meeting the stringent requirements of joining the international network of vehicle service centres.

Africa has a very heterogeneous workshop market and due to the high cost of vehicle repair in the formal sector the majority of mobility users are forced to use the cheaper informal workshops. Bosch Automotive in Africa recognized the need for a full service solution which is positioned strategically in-between the formal and informal workshop segments.

The Bosch Car Service network delivers an aftermarket vehicle servicing solution of bumper to bumper servicing from minor to major services on all makes and models of vehicles. The service offering typically includes vehicle diagnostics, maintenance and repair with a safety check, ensuring the motorists’ vehicle is in a roadworthy condition. Additional services includes battery testing and battery charging, suspension, oil/filter changes, brake pads, brake fluid, spark plugs, bulbs, battery and wiper blades replacement and also air-conditioning service.

A week long launch event, held at Unimech Auto runs from 18th to the 23rd of February 2019 where motorist can enjoy various free checks including safety checks such as brake and suspension testing, to vehicle diagnostics report and battery testing.
